In part 1, we looked at how being prepared and positive are essential ingredients for your networking presentations. Today we will look at the actual delivery of your presentation.
Avoid Using Jargon
Never use jargon when talking to people outside your industry as they won’t understand what you are saying
Make Contact
Make eye contact with everyone in the audience when giving your presentations. Let your eyes roam around rather than be fixed at a single person..
Just Relax & Be Yourself
Something that is really important in networking is to be your authentic self. This just means that you shouldn’t try to be someone else when you are talking to people about your business because people want to build relationship with you.
