Pre write and schedule your posts
Writing blog posts in batches is much easier and less time consuming than sitting in front of your computer with a blank page and blank mind twice a week. Instead, define a theme for each month and create articles that fit into that theme.
Define your audience
Have a good think about who you want to be reading your blog. This is easier if you have a niche market because you will have a clear idea of who your customers are. If you don’t have a particular niche, think about what your clients have in common.
Set your posting rate
A blog is for life, not just for Christmas! A blog takes commitment and is very interactive. Your readers will expect regular new content so think about how often you want to post.
